On Saturday, it was actually light enough for me to go outside and see the mountains; their slopes reflecting the distant light below the horizon. And, my camera could actually 'auto-focus' with the ambient light.I know I mentioned hope before, and I cannot express the concept enough. Light brings hope. It never grows old.

What is in the storage containers in the foreground?
In Sioux Falls every year for the past 12 years we have what is called the LifeLight Festival. It is for three days the weekend of Labor Day. There is free admission to hear famous groups like Casting Crowns and The Newsboys. We get crowds totaling over 300,000 people over the three days. LifeLight stands for bringing the Light of Christ into a dark world, figuratively. Experiencing darkness and then light is seeing the difference.
