Kelsey and I loved our little resort. We wanted to stay all day, but we had to move on eventually to see the rest of the country of Jordan. In the morning, however, we got up for breakfast and had a lovely buffet before heading down for our swim in the Dead Sea. I was excited. Kelsey had been in once before on the Israeli side before.
It is true; you really can float; in fact, you do not have a choice but to awkwardly let the water suspend your body. And, the salinity is so thick, it can be seen in the sea water. We even got all dressed up in therapeutic Dead Sea mud and floated around a bit while scrubbing it all off again. All-in-all we had a lovely experience lolling around in the salty water! We swam in two of the hotel's pools before cleaning up, packing our things, and loading the tiny raisin car; headed for Wadi Rum.
