After looking for a job for one year, I ended up in the place I started: Antarctica.
This time, a new adventure is unfolding which will bring me through a winter season:
no flights, no fresh food, no mail, no sunlight.
Travel, friends, and family await.

hope

Arise shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See the darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
-- Isaiah 60:1-3 --

It must give new meaning to a verse like that about living in darkness to have lived in literal darkness down there for weeks. Praise God for the dawning of his light into spiritual darkness!!
