In the midst of the usual tasking that goes on around Station to keep things going, the snow and wind added an addition amount of work to be done.
This first photo is of the shoveler. We have a lot of these around station. We have a shovel and sometimes a broom or brush near pretty much every door on station to clear doorways and make paths. Anita has been shoveling the path into a nice stairway outside of my building, but she seems to have lost a bit of her heart after Fleet Ops came down with their bulldozers to remove all of it at once after she had carefully crafted her blocks of snow. Aaron just had a birthday and one of his friends found him his very own shovel for future snow storms; and locked him in his room with it.
The second picture is of our "parking lot" for lunch. It's certainly not filled with your typical vehicles. Most of us walk to and fro, but Fleet Ops has been busy out bulldozing and moving large amounts of snow around.
